DevSecOps Engineer

This role will be performed on-site in Huntsville, AL.
Summit TRC is seeking to add a DevSecOps Engineer to our team. The right engineer will have a strong foundation designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining new DevSecOps builds. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines to consistently improve automated build, test, and deployment workflows
- Identify and resolve environment inconsistencies and deployment bottlenecks by implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated provisioning strategies
- Modernize existing DevSecOps environments by identifying inefficiencies, reducing manual processes, and implementing automation across infrastructure and application delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate secure, scalable infrastructure and deployment practices into the development lifecycle
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure to ensure system stability and performance
- Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline build, test, release, and infrastructure provisioning activities
- Bachelors degree
- Active security clearance
- Proficiency with DevSecOps toolchains, including CI/CD pipeline design and support, version control (Git), and automated build and release processes
- Experience working with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
- Experience with security tools, with an ability to integrate security practices and tools into CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to identify inefficiencies in existing environments and implement automation and modernization improvements
- Must be proficient in writing and maintaining technical documentation
- Have an understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices
