Role DescriptionExperience: 6–8 Years in Cyber Security Role: Security Project Engineer Department: Cyber Security Engineering / Professional Services Role Summary We are looking for a Security Project with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise cyber security. The candidate should have a strong technical foundation across networking, operating systems, cloud, identity, and security technologies, along with prior experience executing Proof of Concepts (PoCs), pilot deployments, product evaluations, and customer demonstrations. The role requires the ability to understand business requirements, validate security products, prepare technical documentation, and support project implementation from design through production rollout. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute security PoCs, pilot implementations, and technology evaluations.
- Understand customer/business requirements and translate them into technical solution designs.
- Prepare PoC plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, success metrics, and implementation approach.
- Install, configure, integrate, and validate security solutions in lab and production environments.
- Evaluate security products across Endpoint, Network, Identity, Email, Cloud, SIEM, and PAM domains.
- Perform functional, performance, interoperability, and security testing.
- Prepare technical reports, PoC findings, architecture diagrams, implementation guides, and executive presentations.
- Coordinate with OEMs, partners, vendors, project managers, and customer teams.
- Support production deployment after successful PoC completion.
- Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and operational handover to support teams.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues during implementation and stabilization.
- Stay updated with emerging cyber security technologies and industry best practices. Required Technical Skills
- Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, SSL/TLS.
- Windows and Linux administration with system hardening knowledge.
- Identity technologies: Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, MFA.
- Exposure to security technologies such as NGFW, EDR/XDR, WAF, Proxy/SWG, Email Security, PAM, SIEM, DLP, NAC, CASB, CNAPP or ZTNA.
- Virtualization and cloud exposure (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, GCP) preferred.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, PowerShell, Python, or automation is desirable.
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10, Zero Trust, MITRE ATT&CK, and NIST security practices. Documentation & Project Deliverables
- High-Level and Low-Level Design (HLD/LLD).
- Bill of Materials (BoM) validation.
- Implementation plans and rollback procedures.
- Test cases, test results, and PoC reports.
- Runbooks, SOPs, and Knowledge Transfer documentation.

- PCNSE, Fortinet FCP/NSE
- Microsoft SC-200/SC-300
- Security+, CEH, CISSP (preferred)
- Relevant OEM certifications Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
- Customer-facing consulting experience.
- Ability to manage multiple PoCs and projects simultaneously.
- Strong documentation, planning, and stakeholder management skills. Success Metrics (KPIs)
