Senior Java & Cloud Engineer at BairesDev

As a Lead Security Engineer (Kubernetes), you will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade security architectures for containerized environments. You will act as a key driver for secure engineering practices, ensuring that our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and platforms remain highly resilient against evolving threats while mentoring team members.

What You'll Do:

- Drive the strategic vision and design of enterprise-wide security architectures for containerized workloads.

- Establish robust platform security standards, overseeing vulnerability remediation and implementing strict encryption and access policies.

- Build and implement automated security testing, scanning, and compliance checks directly into system development and deployment lifecycles.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed secure-by-default configurations into cloud infrastructure templates.

- Act as a technical mentor to engineering teams, championing security awareness and aligning architecture with key stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in Product Security, DevSecOps, or Systems Security Engineering.

- Proven expertise in securing Kubernetes environments and container orchestration (specifically AWS EKS).

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Helm.

- Solid experience integrating security scanning and automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).

- Proven ability to mentor engineering teams and align technical security standards with key stakeholders.

- Advanced proficiency in English.
