Cybersecurity & Identity Governance Lead | Cloud-First

We’re looking for Local talent with strong Identity Governance experience who has worked in a fintech or digital financial services environment. This role is ideal for someone who has operated in a cloud-first environment, rather than a predominantly traditional or on-premise technology setup, and is ready to drive Identity, Cybersecurity and Access Governance at a strategic level.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategise and architect Identity and Cybersecurity Governance, incorporating robust risk management for public cloud and frontier AI models.
- Provide oversight and independent challenge of the Cybersecurity and Access Governance workstream, ensuring alignment with BNM RMiT and organisational frameworks and policies.
- Own the policy, governance and risk assurance of Identity Governance tools such as SailPoint and CyberArk, as well as technical guardrails for AI-driven development environments.
- Oversee and conduct thematic reviews of cloud-based access control systems, ensuring configurations adhere to access management best practices.
- Drive improvements and automation of cyber governance, leveraging AI-assisted tools for continuous improvement and real-time risk mitigation.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing expert counsel on Identity, Cloud and systemic risks associated with frontier AI models.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience managing an Identity Governance function within a complex organisation.
- Strong experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders across various levels and domains to improve access control, including: Business application role definition, Access recertification, Approval workflow definition and Access governance across technology platforms and applications
- Demonstrated experience implementing IAM and PAM controls in line with industry best practices, control objectives and regulatory expectations, including BNM RMiT and PayNet.
- Broad knowledge of cloud infrastructure and related processes, with in-depth and up-to-date experience in a cloud-first / SaaS cloud environment.
- Results-oriented, with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to draw lateral connections across different subject areas.
- Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment while also operating independently and in a self-directed capacity.
- Experience in agentic identity management will be an added advantage.
