Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, automating, and securing cloud infrastructure, working closely with solution architects and cross-functional teams to deliver a complex multi-region cloud transformation. You will join a distributed cloud engineering team driving the migration of a large-scale security analytics and observability platform from AWS to Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including AKS, networking, storage, secrets management, and supporting services across multiple delivery milestones
• Migrate and adapt AWS-based components to Azure-native solutions, including storage, file systems, networking, and data services while ensuring functional parity and scalability
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep to support consistent, repeatable, and automated deployments
• Design, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable application delivery and infrastructure provisioning
• Configure and support Kubernetes environments, containerized workloads, and cloud-native deployment patterns within Azure
• Implement security, identity, certificate, and secrets management solutions aligned with organizational standards and compliance requirements
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver cloud transformation objectives
• Contribute to Agile delivery processes, participate in planning and review ceremonies, and drive continuous improvements through automation and operational best practices

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), cloud networking, and Azure-native services
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, containerized environments, and cloud infrastructure operations
• Experience with AWS services such as EKS, S3, DynamoDB, EFS, and VPC networking, with the ability to map and migrate workloads to Azure equivalents
• Solid background in DevOps practices, including CI/CD implementation, Infrastructure as Code, and automation using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
• Experience with secrets, certificates, and identity management solutions, including HashiCorp Vault, DigiCert, PKCS7, and Okta
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and configuration management tools such as Puppet
• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks, including SOC and HIPAA requirements; experience with Splunk is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in distributed international teams and work effectively within Agile environments
