Senior Cyber Security Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Specialist at HangiKredi, which is Turkey's leading platform in the banking products comparison and application category since 2006, constantly renewing itself with its dynamic and financial assistant vision, visited by three out of every four people who conduct online loan research every year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Advanced knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, and SOAR
• Experience in vulnerability management processes
• Familiarity with detection and response processes within the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Strong skills in incident response (IR), forensic analysis, and log correlation
• Preferably, experience in developing automation/orchestration scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash

Preferred Additional Qualifications

• Possession of certifications such as Cyber Struggle Ranger, CCD, BTL 2, BTL 1, OSCP+, OSCP, GCIA, GCIH
• Experience with application security best practices
• Interest in statistical learning approaches for log analysis and anomaly detection

Responsibilities

• Proactively protect the company’s information systems, network infrastructure, and cloud environments against cyber threats
• Monitor SIEM and log management systems; perform anomaly detection using threat intelligence and correlation rules
• Conduct atomic tests for TTPs mapped to the ATT&CK matrix and develop custom rules where necessary
• Design large-scale attack emulation scenarios
• Manage incident response processes, including analysis, containment, and root cause investigation
• Plan penetration tests and interpret their results
• Conduct vulnerability scans and coordinate with IT teams to remediate findings
• Define security requirements for new projects, perform architectural reviews, and carry out risk analyses
• Contribute to user awareness training and organize social engineering simulations
• Support compliance processes for ISO 27001, KVKK, and other relevant regulations
• Develop scripts for automation and orchestration to optimize security operations
• Continuously improve processes by staying updated on current threats, one-day vulnerabilities and industry trends
