Information Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical security controls in close coordination with internal security and technology teams.
• Develop risk and technology analyses that communicate key risk points to other security professionals and technologists.
• Build security risk controls into the corporate technology stack.
• Stay current with emerging technology risks—particularly in cloud and AI/ML—and industry best practices to mitigate such risks.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology experience, including cloud security, application security, or a related technical security field.
• Strong technical knowledge of cloud platforms, modern application security principles, and emerging architectures used by AI/ML platforms.
• Understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF) and the ability to apply them pragmatically across various technology contexts.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing technology solutions that conform to international standards (e.g., CIS).
• Excellent communication skills—able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work alongside other security professionals and technologists to deliver secure solutions.
• Curiosity and drive to continue growing in the security and technology fields.

Preferred Experience

• College degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• Proven track record implementing or using controls assurance platforms.
• Knowledge of relevant local regulations (e.g., MLPS, data security laws).
• Experience building and supporting corporate infrastructure in both cloud and on-premises environments.
