About Security Operation Center is responsible for monitoring and handling information security issues to detect, analyze, respond to, prevent, and investigate security incidents, ensuring cybersecurity for an organization. The SOC currently manages and provides services to nearly 100 clients, including government ministries and agencies, and multi-industry organizations and enterprises both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Job Description:

– Perform direct threat hunting (malware scanning) for critical systems

– Basic reverse engineering and analysis of malware on Windows (Worm, Trojan, Ransomware, Botnet)

– Basic reverse engineering and analysis of malware on Linux (Worm, Trojan, Ransomware, Botnet)

– Advanced reverse engineering and analysis of malware on Windows (APT malware)

– Advanced reverse engineering and analysis of malware on Linux (APT malware)

– Reverse engineering and analysis of Rootkits and Bootkits

– Perform indirect threat hunting based on APT tactics/techniques

Qualifications

• Educational Background:

– Bachelor’s degree in: Information Security; Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics-Informatics…

– English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 650 or higher

• Requirements/Competencies:

– Knowledge of scanning and detecting malware components

– Proficient in using scanning tools: Autoruns, Procexp, TCPView, PCHunter, and Linux scanning commands (ls, ps, netstat, cat, iptables, last, lastlog)

– Understanding of basic Malware techniques (Persistence, hook, keylogging, credential dumping, reconnaissance, USB/LAN/Email spreading, file encryption, …)

• Skills:

– Basic reverse engineering and analysis skills for malware on Windows (Worm, Trojan, Ransomware, Botnet).

– Basic reverse engineering and analysis skills for malware on Linux (Worm, Trojan, Ransomware, Botnet).

– Advanced reverse engineering and analysis skills for malware on Windows (APT malware).

– Advanced reverse engineering and analysis skills for malware on Linux (APT malware).
