About the

roleWe're building the technology foundations that will support the next phase of growth at

SRG.
As a rapidly expanding international insurance group operating across the UK, Europe, Australia and Asia, we're investing heavily in a modern, cloud-native technology environment built around Microsoft technologies, automation and security-by-d

esign.
Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll take ownership of our Infrastructure & Cyber Security pillar, shaping the cloud platform, security strategy, identity architecture and operational controls that underpin the entire organi

sation.
This is a rare opportunity to combine strategic ownership with hands-on engineering. You'll influence technology direction at executive level whilst remaining close to the technology

itself.
This role owns the cloud, security and identity platforms that support the entire SRG group. You'll work directly with the CTO to deliver a secure, scalable and cost-efficient technology estate while enabling continued growth through acquisition and international e

xpansion.

What you’

ll be doing· Leading a small internal team and engage with externa

l partners.· Setting the direction for SRG's cloud, infrastructure and cyber security ca

pabilities.· Owning the Azure platform, identity architecture and Microsoft secur

ity estate.· Driving our cloud migration and modernisati

on roadmap.· Establishing governance, security and compliance controls through automation

and policy.· Managing infrastructure economics, cloud optimisation and technology investment

decisions.· Supporting acquisition integration and technology harmonisation across

the group.

Who we’

re looking forWe're interested in strategic technology builders who have hands on technical depth and commerc

ial judgement.
· Extensive experience of Microsoft security and identity stack: Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Pur

view, Sentinel.· Azure platform engineering experience - subscription and landing-zone design, PaaS services, cl

oud networking.· Demonstrable experience in moving a legacy physical e

state to cloud.· Proven experience delivering cloud transformation and platform modernisat

ion programmes.· A working grasp of the modern identity threat landscape: adversary-in-the-middle, session-token theft, infostealers, Passkeys and TPM-bound to

ken protection.· Understanding of infrastructure-as-code, automation and platfo

rm engineering.· Certifications you hold should include some of the following (or equivalent) SC-300 and SC-200, AZ-104, AZ-305, SC

-100 or MD-102.· Experience operating within regulated or highly governe

d environments.· Commercial awareness with responsibility for technology investment or ope

rational spend.
