Your role 

As a Senior M365 Consultant (gn) Modern Workplace, you will support customers in the design, implementation, and continuous development of modern Microsoft 365 workplaces. You provide holistic consulting across the full stack—from collaboration and productivity to security and endpoint management, through to data security with Microsoft Purview and the secure adoption of Microsoft Copilot. In this role, you take ownership of demanding customer projects, develop robust solution architectures, and work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Delivery, and Managed Services—as well as Microsoft and our cross-regional delivery centers (xDC) to ensure seamless project execution and high customer satisfaction. 

Your responsibilities 

• Provide strategic and technical consulting across the Microsoft 365 stack with a senior, generalist perspective on modern workplace solutions 
• Design, architect, and implement solutions in the following areas: 
  • M365 Collaboration (e.g., Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online) 
  • Security & Identity (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Zero Trust, MFA, Conditional Access, SSO/Federation, Identity Governance, Access Reviews, Lifecycle Management, Privileged Identity Management) 
  • Endpoint Management with Microsoft Intune 
  • Data Security & Compliance with Microsoft Purview (e.g., Information Protection, DLP, Data Classification, Governance) 
  • Microsoft Copilot — secure, productive use cases in an enterprise context, including readiness assessments and governance frameworks 
• Analyze customer requirements and develop suitable strategies for cloud-based and hybrid modern workplace architectures 
• Collaborate with other Teams into SoftwareOne to deliver end-to-end solutions that span both platform and workplace layers 
• Plan and conduct workshops, assessments, and presentations for customers 
• Support Sales during the Presales phase, contribute to proposal strategies, and participate in customer discussions 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with SoftwareOne’s Sales, Delivery, Managed Services, and Delivery Center teams to deliver integrated solutions and ensure knowledge sharing across the organization 
• Optimize and further develop existing customer solutions at the intersection of productivity, security, and governance

What we are looking for 

• Professional experience in the Microsoft 365 environment, ideally in a consulting, architecture, or technical delivery role at senior level 
• Broad, generalist understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and the ability to connect collaboration, security, device management, compliance, and AI/Copilot scenarios end to end 
• Strong practical knowledge in several of the following areas: 
  • Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive 
  • Microsoft Defender Suite 
  • Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management 
  • Microsoft Entra ID / Identity & Access Management (e.g., Conditional Access, MFA, SSO/Federation, Identity Governance, Access Reviews, Lifecycle Management, Privileged Identity Management) 
  • Microsoft Purview / Data Security / Compliance 
  • Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Readiness / Governance 
• Relevant Microsoft certifications are expected or in progress, for example: 
  • MS-102 — Microsoft 365 Administrator 
  • SC-300 — Identity and Access Administrator 
  • SC-400 — Information Protection and Compliance Administrator 
  • MD-102 — Endpoint Administrator 
• Additional certifications in Microsoft Security or Azure space are a plus 
• Experience in analyzing complex requirements and developing robust architecture and implementation concepts 
• Strong communication skills, confident presence, and enjoyment in working with customers, Sales, and technical teams 
• A structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented way of working 
• High customer, service, and team orientation as well as a willingness to learn in a dynamic technology environment
