Job Functions And Responsibilities
- Contribute to IT and cybersecurity compliance initiatives, including NIST 800-171 and CMMC frameworks, by writing/revising policy, implementing processes, and maintaining audit records.
- Design, Deploy, implement, and support new technologies for both end users and administrators, across on-prem and cloud environments.
- Lead and support IT break/fix escalations, operations, updates, lifecycle refreshes, and add/change activities.
- Help manage records labeling and retention efforts.
- Manage and remediate vulnerabilities in CUI and higher classification networks to maintain a secure, compliant enterprise environment.
- Support cybersecurity monitoring, analysis, and response efforts.
- Professional experience of 7 or more years is desired but may not be required in all circumstances.
- A strong track record supporting enterprise IT systems across desktop support, server administration, virtualization, compliance, and cybersecurity operations.
- Experience with end-user support, break/fix tasks, and routine IT operations.
- Experience evaluating and implementing new systems based on business needs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and enterprise Windows environments.
- Experience supporting IT regulatory compliance programs (e.g., NIST 800-171, CMMC).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Experience with Microsoft Purview and data governance programs, both designing and implementing them.
- SIEM experience and comfort investigating security alerts.
- Linux administration capability in an enterprise setting.
- Experience managing a Microsoft 365 GCC-High tenant.
- Knowledge of L2/L3 networking.
- Familiarity with Tenable.SC or Nessus vulnerability platforms.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
