• Lead the design, implementation, and governance of security and compliance controls for cloud-based platforms.
• Ensure compliance with applicable security standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational policies.
• Implement data privacy controls, including protection, masking, anonymisation, and secure handling of sensitive information.
• Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support security audits, compliance assessments, and accreditation activities by preparing required documentation and evidence.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, and development teams to embed security best practices throughout the platform lifecycle.
• Monitor platform security posture, investigate security issues, and drive continuous security improvements.
• Develop security documentation, standards, and knowledge transfer materials to support internal capability development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security compliance for enterprise platforms.
• Strong experience implementing security governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Experience with security accreditation, audits, and compliance processes in regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience implementing data privacy controls, including data masking, anonymisation, and protection of personally identifiable information (PII).
• Experience securing cloud platforms, with knowledge of AWS security services preferred.
• Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, logging, monitoring, and incident response.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
