Information Security Associate in our office in Dubai.

The role of the Information Security Associate is to support the protection of company systems, data, and infrastructure by assisting in implementing and monitoring security controls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities
• Support incident response processes and documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain security tools (SIEM, antivirus, endpoint protection)
• Participate in user access reviews and identity management
• Support security awareness initiatives across the organization

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles (CIA triad, threat vectors)
• Familiarity with security tools (e.g., SIEM, firewalls)
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to handle confidential information

Experience Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in IT/security
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Certifications (preferred but not mandatory): Security+, CEH (entry-level exposure)
