Role: IAM Architect

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Duration: Full Time/Contract

Job Description:

• 13+ years of exp. in information security or cloud architecture, with at least 5–7 years specialized in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• An AI Identity Architect (or Agent Identity/IAM Architect) defines and leads the enterprise security strategy for autonomous AI systems, LLM agents, and machine workloads. They design frameworks ensuring every AI agent has a verifiable identity, strict access boundaries, and a managed lifecycle under Zero Trust principles
• Deep working knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and modern identity protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SSO).
• AI & Zero Trust Knowledge: Clear grasp of agentic AI frameworks, API security, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Zero Trust network principles
• Build the enterprise blueprint for AI agent onboarding, unique credential issuance, ownership assignment, and decommissioning
• Guide engineering and platform teams to embed security-by-design patterns into AI foundational frameworks
• Implement scalable discovery and inventory tracking for all active non-human/AI entities across multi-cloud environments
• Enforce strict runtime and tool-boundary guardrails so AI agents only access approved data repositories and APIs
