Principal Security Architect at BairesDev
As a Principal Security Architect, you will lead the design and evolution of enterprise-wide security frameworks that protect complex, distributed environments. You will serve as a strategic authority, ensuring that security is a foundational element of the technology stack while aligning risk management with core business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Architect and govern global security standards across cloud, application, and identity domains to ensure a resilient infrastructure.
- Lead structured threat modeling and architectural reviews to proactively identify and mitigate systemic design flaws.
- Define secure-by-design patterns and guardrails that enable engineering teams to deliver high-velocity solutions safely.
- Partner with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate complex security requirements into actionable strategic roadmaps.
- Drive the evaluation and selection of emerging security technologies to future-proof the enterprise against evolving threats.
- Provide high-level technical mentorship to security engineering chapters, fostering a culture of architectural excellence.
- 8+ years of experience in Security Architecture or Cybersecurity Engineering.
- Proven expertise in designing and governing enterprise security architectures across multiple domains.
- Deep understanding of threat modeling, security architecture patterns, and risk management.
- Proficiency in securing cloud-native, application, and identity-focused environments.
- Strong background in aligning security strategies with business objectives and governance frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
