We are currently looking for an experienced Vulnerability Engineer / SOC Analyst to join our cybersecurity team and support vulnerability management activities within a complex enterprise environment in Barcelona.
🔎 Your Role
As a Vulnerability Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and managing security vulnerabilities across enterprise systems. You will work closely with SOC teams, security analysts, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to improve the organization's security posture and ensure effective vulnerability remediation processes.
💼 Your Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle, from identification to remediation and reporting.
- Perform vulnerability assessments using security scanning tools and analyze results to determine risk levels and business impact.
- Prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity, exploitability, and business context.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to define and track remediation plans.
- Support SOC operations by analyzing security findings and contributing to threat detection and response activities.
- Investigate vulnerabilities, validate findings, and reduce false positives.
- Prepare security reports, dashboards, and KPIs for technical and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of vulnerability management processes and security best practices.
- Support security audits and compliance activities when required.
✅ What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Vulnerability Engineer, Security Analyst, or SOC Analyst in enterprise environments.
- Betweem 2-5y of experience
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability management processes and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or similar).
- Good understanding of security frameworks, risk assessment, and remediation processes.
- Knowledge of networking, operating systems, and common security vulnerabilities.
- Ability to analyze technical findings and communicate risks clearly to different stakeholders.
- Experience working with SOC environments and security operations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international environment.
- Fluent English (working language).
