Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Cyber Security Engineer to drive the design, acquisition, and deployment of security-focused hardware, software, and network infrastructure in collaboration with broader Technology teams.

The role will focus on ensuring that existing and planned security frameworks meet high standards of quality, security, and compliance.

You will contribute to scalable security architectures, influence technology roadmaps, and drive interoperability across complex network, cloud, and security environments.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Strategic Collaboration

• Partner with Transformation Program Directors, Senior Architects, Steering Committees, CISO and Cyber Threat Intelligence teams.
• Support the delivery of complex enterprise-wide transformation programs.

🔹 Segmentation Engineering

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust VMware vDefend / VMware NSX security controls and microsegmentation solutions.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering teams.

🔹 Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Security Architecture Councils and cross-functional working groups.
• Build strong relationships and ensure alignment across technology and security teams.

🔹 Digital Transformation

• Support cloud adoption and broader digital transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to secure and scalable cloud and network architectures.

🔹 Automation & Scripting

• Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell/Bash, and related technologies.
• Automate activities such as software installation and upgrades, database and OS patching, and server provisioning.

🔹 Project & Incident Management

• Develop comprehensive project plans and conduct technical impact assessments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact, complex technical issues.
• Support rapid service restoration and continuous improvement.

Key Skills & Experience

✅ Strong experience in Cyber Security / Network Security Engineering

✅ Hands-on experience with VMware NSX / NSX-T / vDefend

✅ Strong understanding of microsegmentation and network security controls

✅ Experience with cloud security and hybrid cloud environments

✅ Strong scripting/automation skills using Python, Shell, or Bash

✅ Experience working with enterprise-scale security architecture and transformation programs

✅ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

✅ Experience handling complex technical incidents and projects
