Senior / Lead Cloud Security Engineer | Hungary

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you'll work across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP to assist our customers secure their cloud environments — identity, data, network, and workload security — and make sure it's properly documented in line with the client's security requirements. You'll work closely with the architecture and DevOps teams, so security is part of how things get built, not a review that happens after.

What we're looking for:
- 3–5+ years in technology consulting, cybersecurity consulting, or a hands-on cloud security engineering role
- Practical security experience across at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) — multi-cloud is a strong plus
- Comfortable working directly with client security and engineering teams, and documenting decisions clearly
- Able to explain security risk and trade-offs to non-security stakeholders
- Fluent in English and Hungarian.
- EU citizenship or a valid work permit to work in Hungary is required
- Broader architecture exposure across integration, data, cybersecurity, or enterprise applications
- Experience with banking, financial services, or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud operating models, or migration strategy
- CCSP, CISSP, CCSK, CKS, or a vendor-specific security certification (AWS Security Specialty, AZ-500, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer)
- German - Upper-Intermediate or higher
- Design and implement security controls across identity (IAM/PAM, federation, conditional access), data (encryption, key management, classification), and network (segmentation, secure landing zones, WAF/CASB)
- Work on workload security — container security, serverless security, IaC scanning
- Integrate security into the delivery pipeline — static & dynamic testing, container image scanning, supply chain security
- Support detection and response architecture — SIEM/SOAR integration, cloud-native detection tooling
- Help clients meet regulatory and compliance requirements (GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO 27017, sector-specific rules) and maintain system security documentation
- Get up to speed on securing AI workloads and AI agents with production access — a rapidly growing part of the role
