🔐 URGENT NEED - Senior IT Risk & Security Analyst BASED IN BUCHAREST, ROMANIA (Pipera Area)

We are URGENTLY looking for a Senior IT Risk & Security Analyst to join a high-performing cybersecurity team within a dynamic multinational environment in Bucharest.

This role is ideal for a hands-on professional passionate about security operations, threat detection, and incident response, with a strong focus on protecting systems, data, and digital assets

🚀 Role Overview

You will play a key role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats while contributing to the continuous enhancement of security operations, controls, and frameworks.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts across platforms (SIEM, EDR, identity, coud)
• Investigate and respond to security incidents (phishing, endpoint, identity, cloud threats)
• Support incident response activities (containment, eradication, recovery)
• Perform root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
• Develop and improve detection rules and use cases
• Conduct threat hunting and identify emerging risks
• Collaborate with IT and cloud teams to strengthen security posture
• Contribute to SOC optimization (automation, orchestration, AI-assisted operations)
• Ensure documentation and compliance with frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001)
• Act as escalation point and mentor junior team members

✅ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity (security operations, threat detection, incident response)
• Hands-on experience with SIEM / EDR / SOAR tools (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Crowd Strike)
• Strong understanding of threat vectors and MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Experience with Microsoft security ecosystem is a plus (Defender, Entra ID, Purview)
• Knowledge of cloud security principles (Azure preferred)
• Exposure to AI-related security risks is an advantageExperience in regulated environments (SOC2, ISO27001)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

📍 Work Setup & Location

• 📍 Office location: Near Pipera Metro Station (Bucharest)
• 🗓️ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 (1-hour lunch break)
• 🏢 Hybrid model:4 days/week in the office (mandatory)1 day/week remote
