Director of Cyber Security

- Develop and execute the organization's cyber security roadmap in partnership with the CIO/Head of IT
- Develop and recommend enterprise-wide security policies, standards and procedures for approval by the CIO/Head of IT
- Align cyber security initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements, including PCI DSS, GDPR, and applicable U.S. state privacy laws
- Foster a culture of cyber security awareness throughout the organization
- Lead Security Operations Center (SOC) functions, including monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Oversee endpoint security, identity and access management (IAM), network security, cloud security, and data protection programs across the client distribution/B2B systems and client consumer-facing and e-commerce platforms
- Extend the security program to distribution center systems, including warehouse management and operational technology (OT), where applicable
- Direct cyber incident response planning, investigations, and recovery activities; escalate significant or material incidents to the CIO/Head of IT and executive leadership per the incident response plan
- Conduct enterprise security risk assessments and prioritize remediation efforts
- Manage third-party and vendor/supply-chain security risk across the retailer and distribution network
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in cyber security, including 5+ years leading security teams or operations
- Experience developing enterprise cyber security strategies
- Strong knowledge of: Security architecture; Cloud security (AWS, Azure); Network security; Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR); Security Information and Event Management (SIEM); Zero Trust architecture; Threat intelligence; Vulnerability management; Incident Response; Disaster recovery and business continuity; Third-party and vendor risk management
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant certification(s) preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or GIAC)
