We're looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer (L3) to join our team and support the design and implementation of enterprise network infrastructure projects.
The role is focused on project delivery, network and security deployments and infrastructure implementations across enterprise environments. This position is ideal for engineers who have solid networking fundamentals and hands-on implementation experience and want to further develop their technical skills in modern enterprise networks.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and implementation of enterprise network and security solutions.
- Lead or co-lead network and security implementation, migration, and infrastructure upgrade projects from planning through delivery.
- Coordinate project activities with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution and timely completion.
- Support network migration, infrastructure upgrade, and security enhancement projects
- Configure and deploy routing, switching, data center, wireless, WAN, and security technologies.
- Deploy, configure, and manage firewalls, VPNs, NAC, and secure remote access solutions.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network and security architecture improvements and new technology rollouts.
- Monitor network and security infrastructure to ensure performance, availability, and compliance with security policies.
- Ensure network and security best practices are followed across all projects and operational activities.
- Create and maintain implementation guides, security standards, network diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Participate in testing, validation, commissioning, and security assessment of network solutions.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering) or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in enterprise networking and network security
- Demonstrated experience leading or co-leading network and security implementation projects is essential.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, and network security principles
- Hands-on experience with enterprise networking and security technologies, including routing and switching, Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), security policy management, network segmentation, SD-WAN, and VPN technologies
- Experience with Network Access Control (NAC), Zero Trust architectures and identity-based access policies is considered a plus
- Cisco CCNP, Fortinet FCP (or equivalent) certification is considered a strong plus
- Experience with other vendors (Juniper, Huawei, Palo Alto) is considered a plus
- Familiarity with scripting or automation knowledge (Python, Ansible) is also considered a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills
