Who You’ll Be Working With

You’ll Be Responsible For The Following
- Led the solution and design of innovative cybersecurity and fraud prevention controls for GCash's hybrid environment (private & public cloud).
- Ensure proposed architectures align with security goals, objectives, and enterprise architecture principles, prioritizing cost-effectiveness and scalability.
- Craft and deliver high-level and low-level security solution designs for platforms, applications, and infrastructure, including network, data, and cloud security considerations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Business Units, Engineering) to seamlessly integrate security into enterprise-wide architecture planning.
- Champion best practices and stay abreast of industry trends in cybersecurity and fraud prevention technologies.
- Provide expert technical guidance to project managers and stakeholders on security controls, countermeasures, and risk management approaches
- Lead the technical solutioning team in collaborative research, vendor assessment, and technology stack evaluation, fostering an agile and efficient environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of combined experience in Cybersecurity architecture and design OR Fraud management architecture and design within a cloud environment.
- Relevant IT or security-related roles demonstrating strong technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, independently making critical technical decisions and driving projects forward.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba) and associated threat models.
- Strong understanding of network security, infrastructure security, data security, and application security concepts.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and security governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to independently make critical technical decisions and select optimal solutions.
- Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments in cybersecurity and fraud prevention.
- Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant vendor technologies and partnerships within the security and fraud prevention landscape.
