At DXC Spain we are looking for a Security Engineer.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as L3 technical reference within the SOC and managed security services
- Handle and resolve complex cybersecurity incidents (L3 level)
- Design, evolve and harden security architectures (on-premise and cloud)
- Participate in cybersecurity projects (deployments, migrations, improvements)
- Manage and optimize advanced security technologies, including:
- EDR/XDR (e.g. SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender)
- SIEM/SOAR (e.g. Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar)
- Firewalls/WAF (e.g. Fortinet, Palo Alto)
- SASE / SWG / CASB (e.g. Netskope, Zscaler)
- Support service transitions and implementation of new security capabilities
- Act as escalation point for L1/L2 teams and provide technical mentorship
- Engage with clients (workshops, troubleshooting, reporting)
- Contribute to the implementation of security solutions in client environments
- Participate in on-call rotations when required
- +7–10 years of experience in cybersecurity
- Previous experience as: L3 SOC / Senior Security Engineer, or Technical Security Architect / Consultant (hands-on)
- Strong hands-on experience across:
- Design, implementation and operation of security solutions
- Enterprise environments, multi-client setups or MSSP
- Solid knowledge in several of the following areas:
- Network Security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR)
- SASE / Cloud Security (Netskope, Zscaler, CASB)
- Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Security across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS environments
- Microsegmentation (e.g. Guardicore)
- Infrastructure as Code / automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in complex environments and manage multiple priorities
- Customer-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
- Proactive, autonomous and team-oriented attitude
