Experience Cloud Technical Architect

We are seeking a hands-on Salesforce Experience Cloud specialized Technical Architect & Design Lead responsible for driving the technical architecture and design of Salesforce solutions that meet complex business requirements. This role ensures that all solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with Salesforce best practices and platform capabilities. The Technical Design Lead collaborates closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to translate functional requirements into robust technical designs, oversee integration strategies, and guide developers on implementation standards. Acting as a key technical authority, this position plays a critical role in multi-cloud strategies and external system integrations. This role requires strong experience with Salesforce core platform features, especially with Experience Cloud, integrations and large data volumes (LDV). The Technical Lead will also support mid level developers and must be hands on coding with LWC, Async Apex as well as integration work. This role also requires excellent client communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities & Primary Focus: Technical implementation and detailed design

• Translate the solution architecture into detailed technical designs.
• Define coding standards, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.
• Lead development teams, review code, and ensure technical quality.
• Handle complex customizations (Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs).
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Break down technical specifications into manageable size user stories.

• Ability to create detailed technical specifications and oversee implementation.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce data security model, including complex sharing rules, role hierarchies, and object-level permissions; especially in the context of community users, and guest users via Experience Cloud sites
• Strong programming expertise in Apex, LWC, JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce APIs, integration frameworks, and DevOps tools.
• Expertise in Salesforce experience cloud environment, building complex custom solutions.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to drive the work with business and dev teams.

• Detailed Technical design documents.
• Sequence diagrams, data model/flows and component-level diagrams, architecture diagrams.
• Code review reports and performance optimization plans.

• 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
• 5+ years of Salesforce Technical Design experience.
• 3+ years Salesforce Experience Cloud Required
• Salesforce Technical Architecture experience is a big plus.
• Strong expertise in Apex, Async, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL and core Salesforce platform capabilities required.
• Proven experience designing and implementing integrations using APIs and middleware.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, governor limits, and data modeling required.
• Experience designing solutions for large data volumes (LDV).
• Understanding of DevOps tools and processes, including Salesforce DX, Git, Copado, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working on enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations

• Experience with other Salesforce products such as but not limited to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud.
• Experience with middleware tools such as Informatica, Hadoop or similar.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React.
• Familiarity with data migration tools and ETL processes.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
