About the Job: The Cloud Operations Engineer is responsible for managing and executing cloud infrastructure, application and data rehydration activities to support business continuity, enterprise security standard, disaster recovery, regulatory compliance, data restoration, and operational recovery requirements. This role focuses on restoring archived, backed-up, or tiered data across Azure and AWS cloud platforms while ensuring data integrity, system availability, operational efficiency, and adherence to service-level objectives (SLOs).
Required skills:
- Schedule management: Monday–Thursday, 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM EST. (must be located in the United States
- Majority of work happens after 5pmEST
- Rehydration Operations -Monitor, maintain, and support infrastructure (AWS + Azure) -Rehydration and restoration
- Cloud Platform Operations: -Azure cloud infrastructure including AKS, App Services, Function Apps, Storage Accounts, VMSS, Virtual Machines, Key Vault, Logic app and networking services.
- Automation & Process Improvement - Develop automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages to streamline rehydration workflows.
