Senior Infrastructure Engineer

You can work in a fast-paced/dynamic environment with minimal supervision, sometimes during non-standard hours. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to communicate clearly with business leaders and end users. Detail oriented. Ability to troubleshoot/implement technologies “outside the box” and create/implement necessary documentation. You must stay current with latest trends in technology. You must also be a team player in a fast-paced environment and can adjust appropriately during an infrastructure crisis, while still meeting the needs of the business. You are open to actively mentor team members, collaborate with multiple technology groups and can figure out solutions to complex issues. Must have a “do it correct the first time” mentality with automation and security being key factors where possible.

You wear multiple hats; must be able to combine hands-on technical expertise with longer term strategic planning. You have strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills and have working experience and familiarity with the following processes and technologies:

• 5+ years of Systems/Infrastructure Engineering experience required.
• Computer Science degree or similar work experience required.
• Advanced experience working with Public Cloud (AWS/Azure) required.
• Configuration management tools and automation platforms required (Terraform a plus).
• Automation/Scripting required - PowerShell preferred, Python a plus.
• Advanced knowledge/experience of:
• Data Center deployment and maintenance required.
• Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Solutions required.
• Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 required, Linux preferred.
• VMware Enterprise-level experience required.
• Cisco UCS Management experience required.
• Enterprise and remote site backup solutions required (Cohesity a plus).
• Enterprise SAN technologies (Pure Storage a plus).
• System Monitoring/Alerting (DataDog a plus).
• CI/CD Tools.
• Highly desired certifications preferred:
• Azure Solutions Architect, Amazon Solutions Architect, or enterprise hardware certifications.
