Overview of the role

The Senior AWS Cloud Security Engineer will serve as the technical authority for securing cloud-native infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security architectures within AWS environments, ensuring that all cloud systems are resilient against threats and fully aligned with modern compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

- Designing and implementing comprehensive AWS security architectures to protect enterprise workloads.

- Enforcing identity and access management policies to guarantee least-privilege control across all cloud assets.

- Integrating automated security checks and policies directly into Infrastructure as Code deployment pipelines.

- Establishing robust security monitoring, threat detection, and automated compliance verification frameworks.

- Leading incident response patterns and coordinating remediation efforts for cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities.

Requirements

- Cloud Security: 8+ years of experience in Cloud Security, AWS Infrastructure, or a related role.

- Security Architecture: Proven expertise within AWS environments.

- IAM: Strong hands-on experience implementing policies and least-privilege access controls.

- Infrastructure as Code: Proficient in security automation for IaC pipelines.

- Monitoring and Compliance: Solid understanding of security monitoring, compliance automation, and incident response patterns.

- Language Proficiency: Advanced level of English.
