About the Role
We’re looking for an Intermediate DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
You’ll work closely with engineering, QA and delivery teams to build and improve CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. We’re particularly interested in someone with broader software development or SDLC experience who can contribute across the development lifecycle when needed.
This is an offshore opportunity, with a preference for candidates based in Poland.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including Azure Pipelines, Repos and Artifacts
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, networking, storage and SQL databases
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates
- Automate deployments, environment provisioning, scaling, backups and other operational workflows
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics or similar tools
- Partner with development and QA teams to improve build, deployment and release processes
- Maintain source control, branching and repository standards
- Support troubleshooting and incident response across development, staging and production environments
- Apply security best practices, including Azure Key Vault, role-based access control and network policies
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, runbooks and operational procedures
- Contribute to development or broader SDLC activities where your experience allows
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or a similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, particularly Pipelines, Repos and Artifacts
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash or Python
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, source-control strategies and release management
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights or Grafana
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, load balancing and firewall configuration
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Software development experience or broader hands-on knowledge of the SDLC
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-400
- Experience with Ansible, Chef or similar configuration-management tools
- Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools such as Flux or Argo CD
- Experience with DevSecOps practices including SAST, DAST or dependency scanning
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments
- Familiarity with database migration tools such as DbUp, Flyway or Liquibase
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
