The role

An AI platform automating document processing and data retrieval for enterprise customers. They operate in highly sensitive financial environments, where security and compliance are non-negotiable. Backed by leading investors, they've secured significant Series A funding and are scaling rapidly.

You'll own the entire Azure infrastructure footprint, reporting directly to the founders. This isn't a ticket-jockeying role; it's about architecting, securing, and scaling a mission-critical platform from the ground up. You'll build the guardrails that enable rapid product development while maintaining enterprise-grade compliance.

The work

• Architect and operate the end-to-end Azure infrastructure, including AKS, networking, and IAM, for a platform handling sensitive financial data.
• Design and implement Terraform modules and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines that empower product teams while enforcing enterprise-grade controls.
• Lead the infrastructure preparation for critical compliance audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001), ensuring auditability and security.
• Establish product-wide observability, on-call rotations, and robust cost management strategies for a rapidly scaling cloud environment.

What You Bring

• 4-7 years of end-to-end platform or infrastructure ownership in a high-growth environment.
• Deep, production-level expertise operating Azure (AKS, networking, IAM, security controls).
• Proven experience designing Terraform modules and platform-level GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• Track record of implementing production observability (logging, metrics, tracing) and navigating complex network topologies (VPCs, private networking, firewalls).
• Direct experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR compliance processes and their infrastructure implications.
