Cloud Engineer

Job Description:

1. Deploy and Manage Cloud Infrastructure.
2. Ensuring smooth operation of cloud infrastructure deployment, implementing best practices, and optimizing resources to support business applications and services.
3. Executing the deployment of Public and/or Private Cloud Deployments based from Solution Proposal and Plan.
4. Evaluate cloud services based on workload requirements, scalability needs, and cost considerations.
5. Conduct regular DR drills and failover tests to validate system resilience and ensure operational readiness.
6. Implement distributed architectures leveraging multi-region or multi-zone deployments to minimize downtime.
7. Ensure compliance, security best practices, and cloud governance policies based from industry standard.
8. Assess compliance in security requirements, vulnerability assessments, and policy enforcement using tools like CSPM or SIEM that are available in Cloud.
9. Collaborate with governance teams to define tagging standards, resource naming conventions, and access controls.
10. Monitor Cloud systems using Cloud Native tools.
11. Utilize real-time Cloud dashboards and Cloud alerting rules to ensure proactive detection of anomalies and performance issues.
12. Troubleshoot common cloud, networking, and production issues.
13. Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and document corrective actions to prevent recurrence of incidents.
14. Coordinate cross-functional incident response activities and communication during high-severity outages.
15. Optimize infrastructure cost, performance, and reliability.
16. Perform periodic cost audits and rightsizing activities using cloud cost-management tools guided by optimization frameworks.
17. Leverage autoscaling, caching, and performance-tuning techniques to ensure efficient resource utilization.
18. Familiarity in Design and implement IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or Pulumi
19. Study and reusable IaC templates available in Terraform Registries.
20. Integrate IaC workflows with CI/CD pipelines to enable automated, version-controlled infrastructure deployments.
21. Familiarize Cloud business organizations and processes
22. Guide Clients or Partner on how to correctly Obtain Cloud technical support
23. Actively respond to, track, and manage partner and their customer requirements and service requests (technical/non-technical), and push customers to resolve customer requirements as soon as possible.
24. Project Technical Solution Development
25. Technical and Service Communication Support with Pre-Sales Team
26. Support the SA with POC opportunities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related fields.
2. Atleast 3 years of related experience in Public and/or Private Cloud Projects/Business
3. Experienced in Traditional IT Equipment Technologies (Servers, Storage, Network Devices ; All 3 is a plus)
4. Certifications related to cloud or others ICT certificate is an advantage
5. Be able to respond 24/7 when a major accident occurs.
6. Have excellent communication and problem analysis capabilities. Be able to respond to and communicate with customers and partners in a timely manner.
7. Have a good sense of service and are willing to engage in technical service work. Self-motivation, fast learning, and strong problem-solving capabilities;
8. Have good document presentation skills and be good at summarizing and outputting research conclusions.
9. Able to work under high pressure, a quick learner with a passion for cloud technology.
10. Have a strong sense of teamwork and ability to achieve good mutual cooperation with the team.
