Lead Security Engineer (Kubernetes) at BairesDev
As a Lead Security Engineer (Kubernetes), you will direct the security architecture and technical strategy for our containerized cloud environments. You will play a pivotal role in establishing robust protection frameworks and driving compliance standards across multi-cluster systems while guiding engineering teams toward secure infrastructure designs.
What You'll Do
- Lead the security accreditation architecture and define the technical direction for highly secure cloud environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls and policies for container orchestration platforms and infrastructure code.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and security awareness.
- Drive cross-functional compliance and governance initiatives to meet stringent industry and regulatory standards.
- Automate security verification and integration processes within the deployment lifecycle to ensure continuous compliance.
- 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in Kubernetes security and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Helm.
- Solid experience with AWS, EKS, and CI/CD automation tools like GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience leading security accreditation architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
