$175,000 - $185,000 annually + Bonus

Hybrid; preferred proximity to Atlanta, GA, Austin, TX, or Cleveland, OH

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to influence architecture, drive automation, and mentor a dedicated engineering team within a fast-paced, innovative environment supporting the automotive parts and repair industry.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software or platform engineering
• Strong expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Hands-on experience with programming languages like Python, Go, or Bash
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid background with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and systems
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a hybrid or remote environment

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available platform infrastructure
• Implement Infrastructure as Code best practices and optimize cloud environments for performance and cost
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment processes
• Collaborate with engineering to enhance system performance and integration
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems to ensure high uptime and reliability
• Uphold security principles across platform architecture
• Contribute to strategic architecture decisions and technological improvements
• Mentor junior engineers and assist with onboarding new team members
• Participate in hiring initiatives to shape the future of the engineering team
