What will you do as Azure Engineer?
As the Azure Engineer at Brand New Day, you’ll be responsible for migrating our software landscape to an up-to-date and well-configured cloud environment. You’ll build on this foundation, ensuring that we can fully leverage Azure’s capabilities for our custom-built software in the future.
You’ll work closely with our fifty developers and testers in Amsterdam and Bangkok, enabling them to make the most of Azure for development, testing, and hosting applications. You’ll also support the management team with strategic projects, cloud improvements, and infrastructure maintenance. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with both external service providers and our own Risk department to ensure reliability, security and compliance across our cloud setup.
Your Key Activities And Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and optimize infrastructure in Azure and DevOps (CI/CD)
- Contribute to Brand New Day’s cloud strategy in consultation with developers
- Create specifications and technical blueprints
- Oversee implementation of cloud-based processes and systems
- Collaborate with external providers and internal teams to ensure secure, reliable service delivery

Furthermore, You Have
- 3–5 years experience with cloud, DevOps and CI/CD
- deep knowledge of Azure, DevOps and Microsoft 365 (Intune is a plus)
- relevant Microsoft certifications, such as AZ-104 (or willingness to obtain them soon)
- experience in large IT landscapes
- at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
