We are seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to support a high-performance software development environment. This is not a traditional Systems Administration role.
The ideal candidate understands how cloud services, virtualization, networking, security, endpoint management, and automation work together. You will take ownership of infrastructure challenges and help ensure systems are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business and development needs.
- ☁️ Administer and support Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- 🖥️ Manage VMware vSphere / ESXi environments
- 🔐 Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- 🌐 Support network infrastructure, VLANs, routing, firewalls, and security
- 🛡️ Manage endpoint security and systems administration
- ⚙️ Develop PowerShell scripts and automation to improve processes
- 👨💻 Support Dev/Test environments for software development teams
- 📊 Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and health
- 💾 Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery initiatives
- 🔎 Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across multiple technology layers
- Azure and Microsoft 365 administration experience
- VMware vSphere / ESXi experience
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Networking fundamentals including VLANs, routing, and firewalls
- Endpoint security and systems administration experience
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
- Windows and Linux server administration experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work across cloud, virtualization, networking, security, and systems infrastructure
- 🔄 CI/CD and DevOps exposure
- 🐙 GitHub or Jira integrations
- 🐳 Docker or Kubernetes experience
- 🗄️ SQL Server administration
- 🤖 Experience with AI-assisted automation tools
You will succeed in this role if you enjoy solving complex infrastructure problems and taking ownership across multiple technical disciplines.
We're not looking for someone focused exclusively on VMware, networking, or cloud administration. We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who understands how these technologies work together and can explain not only what they do, but why they are designed that way.
