Role Description This full-time Cloud Engineer role is based in Beyoğlu as a hybrid position, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure to support data platforms, analytics workloads, and modern applications. Day-to-day tasks include provisioning and configuring cloud resources, automating deployment pipelines, monitoring performance and reliability, and optimizing cost and capacity. The role collaborates closely with software developers, data engineers, and ML/AI specialists to ensure robust integration between applications, data services, and cloud environments. The Cloud Engineer also contributes to documentation, participates in architecture reviews, and supports incident response and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong Software Development skills, including experience with scripting or programming languages used for automation and infrastructure tooling.
- Solid Infrastructure skills, covering networking, security, observability, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Hands-on Cloud Computing experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred), including design, deployment, and operations of cloud-native services.
- Proficiency with Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in production environments.
- Working knowledge of Databases, including relational and NoSQL systems, and experience designing or operating data storage solutions in the cloud.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of security best practices, high availability, and disaster recovery in cloud architectures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and adapt to evolving technologies and project requirements.
