DevSec Ops Engineer

MTSI is seeking to hire a Senior DevSecOps Engineer with a strong background in secure cloud platform engineering, Kubernetes operations, and policy‑as‑code enforcement. This senior role supports mission‑critical defense programs and requires deep technical expertise, leadership ability, and hands-on experience in high-assurance environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and operate Azure Government (IL5) and Azure Secret (IL6) environments
• Architect secure Kubernetes platforms using FluxCD, GitLab CI/CD, and GitOps methodologies
• Build and maintain Terraform configurations for Azure, GitLab, Artifactory, and developer platforms
• Deploy and administer Coder Enterprise v2 for secure cloud-based development
• Develop hardened container images and Helm releases for regulated workloads
• Implement policy‑as‑code using OPA, Rego, Gatekeeper, and advanced validation pipelines
• Engineer air-gapped deployment workflows and secure artifact transfer mechanisms
• Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance, security, and platform reliability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, DevSecOps, or secure cloud/platform engineering
• Active U.S. Secret clearance
• U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical discipline
• 20+ years of relevant professional experience
• Experience supporting Department of Defense or intelligence community systems
