DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Company Description

Mercatus, a Relationshop company, is an e-commerce product company looking for an experienced full-time DEVOPS ENGINEER to develop and handle our platform Our products are used in the US, Canada, Central America, Europe and Israel. We already have hundreds of B2B2C customers.

Responsibilities

- Manage VM/Cloud infrastructure, including but not limited to building, deploying, and orchestrating clusters.

- Building and implementing new development tools

- Refactor existing CI/CD pipelines and align with best practices

- Implementing automation tools and frameworks for automatic code deployment (CI/CD)

- Investigating and resolving technical issues by deploying updates/ fixes

- Writing scripts for service quality analysis, monitoring, and operation

- Standardize the processes for managing, maintaining, and securing ad-hoc Linux-based environments to ensure consistent and timely setup, configuration, and availability;

- Managing k8s container-based cloud infrastructure including Azure and our cloud services

- Problem-solving with backend engineers to fix bug or enhance the development environment

- Research, design, and implement solutions for fault tolerance, monitoring, performance enhancements, capacity optimization, disaster recovery, and configuration management of systems

Required skills and qualifications

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or Engineering or relevant field

- At least 3 - 4 years of working experience in DevOps Engineer or a similar software engineering role

- Experience in building CI/CD pipeline automation, and tooling (Github Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD)

- Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure. - Experience with Docker and Managed Kubernetes Service

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines

- Extensive experience with Azure services like Storage Account, Data Factory, etc

- Experienced with the development and implementation of large-scale engineering applications.

Working knowledge of databases and MSSQL

- Working knowledge of scripting using shell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, puppet, or Chef.

- Experience with microservices - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Grafana, CloudWatch, Rancher…)

- Good English communication
