Responsibilities
Domain Experience in Air Exchanges Air Exchanges Travel
- Design build and maintain Java based microservices that run efficiently on Openshift clusters in both Azure and AWS environments
- Implement robust CI and CD pipelines that automate build test and deployment workflows for cloud native applications
- Monitor application performance and infrastructure health using observability tools and proactively remediate issues to ensure high availability
- Troubleshoot complex production incidents by analyzing logs metrics and traces and coordinate with cross functional teams to restore services quickly
- Optimize resource usage on Openshift by tuning configurations and scaling strategies to balance performance and cost
- Apply secure coding practices and cloud security controls to protect applications data and customer privacy across Azure and AWS platforms
- Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate business requirements into technical designs that are feasible in hybrid cloud environments
- Develop reusable components and shared libraries in Java to standardize patterns and accelerate delivery across engineering teams
- Create and maintain technical documentation covering solution designs deployment runbooks and operational guidelines for assigned services
- Coordinate with airline domain stakeholders when applicable to align technical solutions with operational needs and regulatory expectations
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback that improves code quality test coverage and maintainability
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement and implement tools or scripts that reduce manual effort and errors
- Support day shift incident and request handling while maintaining clear communication with global teams in the hybrid working model
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java development including experience with frameworks such as Spring and familiarity with microservices patterns
- Show proven hands on experience deploying and managing applications on Openshift including configuration of projects routes and resource limits
- Exhibit practical experience with Azure services relevant to containerized workloads such as container registries networking and managed databases
- Exhibit practical experience with AWS services relevant to containerized workloads such as compute networking storage and monitoring capabilities
- Apply solid understanding of CI and CD concepts using enterprise tooling to automate builds tests and deployments in a consistent manner
- Display working knowledge of cloud networking fundamentals security groups identity and access management and encryption practices
- Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills and the ability to analyze issues under time pressure while maintaining clear and calm communication
- Communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders and contribute positively within hybrid onsite and remote team settings
- Appreciate airline industry processes and terminology where applicable and translate domain needs into resilient and scalable technical solutions
