Now Hiring — Software Consultant

HOOPS is seeking a dedicated candidate with accounting and software knowledge to join our team of consultants. The Software Consultant will serve as an accounting and business software analyst for our customers. They will collaborate on the improvement of business processes and perform routine software upgrades or maintenance.

If you thrive in a small business setting and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves in helping our customers move their business forward, this role may be for you. The candidate will need the ability to travel in and around Eau Claire, working with businesses on a regular basis, both in-person and remotely. While our regular office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. there may be occasions where remote work or after-hours work is necessary for the flexibility of your schedule, or the customer’s.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate accounting and business software
• Handle upgrades and maintenance of customer software
• Collaborate on the improvement of business processes
• Go the extra mile to engage customers and resolve issues
• Perform other duties as assigned

What Your Have to Offer

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Knowledge of accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics GP and Acumatica preferred
• Proven customer support experience
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
