Cloud Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with solution architects to assess enterprise IT, networking, and application frameworks. Translate these high-level blueprints into reliable, scalable deployment plans.
• Own the end-to-end execution of complex on-premises-to-cloud or cloud-to-cloud migration streams, ensuring minimal downtime and robust data integrity.
• Engineer system-level exception-handling workflows, risk mitigation strategies, and high-availability contingency plans to safeguard live operations.
• Serve as the core escalation engineering point during deployments, continuously refining incident handling procedures and promoting infrastructure best practices.
• Bridge the gap between unique enterprise business needs and available IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS product portfolios to accelerate platform modernization.
• Act as the primary technical liaison, collaborating directly with global product engineering and platform specialist teams to swiftly resolve deep infrastructure issues.
• Conduct structured technical health reviews with key stakeholders, leveraging systems performance metrics to prevent service degradation and enhance operational stability.

Core Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on technical engineering experience with a demonstrable history of delivering large-scale enterprise cloud deployment projects.
• Strong operational and troubleshooting mastery across at least four of the following technical pillars: Distributed Compute, Storage Systems, Enterprise Networking, CDN Architecture, Relational/NoSQL Databases, DevOps Pipelines, Big Data/Analytics, Infrastructure Security, or Cloud-Native Application Development.
• A results-oriented professional with a proven capability to manage high-pressure, fast-paced deployment windows while driving continuous innovation.
• Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills, with a track record of articulating complex technical solutions clearly to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• An adaptable team player possessing strong technical initiative, a proactive problem-solving attitude, and a commitment to delivery excellence.
• Huawei Cloud certificate HCIA, HCIP and HCIE are highly preferred.
