Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We, in partnership with a fast-growing digital financial services firm, are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms across multi-region environments. This is a senior, hands-on role with the opportunity to influence cloud architecture, automation, and reliability for business‑critical services. It is a permanent role based in Singapore.

Responsibilities of a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and OCI, covering compute, storage, networking, and platform services for production workloads.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, pipelines) to standardise provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
• Implement cloud security and networking patterns, including IAM, segmentation, encryption, connectivity, and monitoring to meet resilience and compliance needs.
• Work closely with engineering, security, data, and operations teams to improve availability, performance, observability, and cost efficiency of cloud platforms.
• Support modernisation and transformation initiatives by evaluating new cloud‑native and container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker) and contributing to platform roadmaps.

To be successful in this role, you would need:

• 6–10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud engineering, or related roles, with solid hands‑on work in production environments.
• Strong technical skills with AWS (e.g. EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, networking) and experience with at least one additional cloud or multi‑cloud setup.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation tooling (such as Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines) and familiarity with containers and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of cloud security, network design, high availability, and disaster recovery for enterprise or cloud‑native applications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills, able to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and operate in a fast‑paced, regulated environment; proficiency in English is required, additional Asian languages are a plus
