Cloud and Endpoint Systems Administrator

Position Summary

Prism Systems, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Cloud and Endpoint Systems Administrator to support and improve the technology environment used by our approximately 100-person engineering and software organization.

This position will be responsible for administering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, Microsoft Intune, and Iru-managed Apple devices; supporting office and remote connectivity; troubleshooting employee technology issues; and helping develop and implement IT governance, security, and operational standards.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical troubleshooting skills with sound administrative judgment. This person should be comfortable supporting end users directly while also working on identity management, endpoint security, device compliance, access controls, network troubleshooting, documentation, and infrastructure improvement projects.

The position will work closely with the Vice President of Software Development and other company leadership. The individual will initially assist with the continued deployment and refinement of the company’s endpoint-management, identity, and security platforms and will gradually assume responsibility for routine administration and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure administration
• Windows and macOS endpoint management using Microsoft Intune and Iru
• Endpoint security, device compliance, application deployment, and policy management
• Employee technical support and troubleshooting
• Office network, wireless, VPN, and remote-connectivity support
• Identity, access management, authentication, and security administration
• IT security operations and incident-response support
• IT governance, policies, standards, and procedure development
• Systems documentation, asset management, and operational process improvement
• Automation and scripting of routine IT administrative tasks
• Coordination with vendors and technology service providers
• Support for engineering and software-development users and their specialized computing requirements

Qualifications

• Three or more years of hands-on experience in systems administration, endpoint administration, Microsoft 365 administration, or a comparable IT infrastructure role
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience with Microsoft Intune or another enterprise endpoint-management platform
• Strong Windows administration and troubleshooting experience; macOS administration experience is highly desirable
• Working knowledge of identity and access management, multifactor authentication, Conditional Access, role-based access, and endpoint security
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and VPN technologies
• Experience troubleshooting user, device, application, authentication, and connectivity issues
• Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing technical issues, and take ownership of problems through resolution
• Experience supporting engineering, software-development, or other technically sophisticated users is highly desirable
• PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Bash, or other administrative scripting experience is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Endpoint Administrator (MD-102), Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300), Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102), Security Operations Analyst (SC-200), Azure Administrator, Azure Network Engineer (AZ-700), or comparable Microsoft, Apple, security, and infrastructure certifications are highly desirable.
