Cloud Platform Operations Lead

Tasks:

• Lead the provisioning, management, and optimisation of cloud infrastructure and services across OCI, AWS, and Azure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and automation solutions using Terraform, CLI tools, and related technologies.
• Drive cloud cost optimisation and FinOps initiatives by monitoring usage and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex cloud platform issues.
• Implement SRE practices, including automated health checks, observability, and configuration drift remediation.
• Design and maintain cloud networking solutions, including VNet/VPC, DNS, routing, peering, and service endpoints.
• Mentor L2 Support Analysts, support knowledge sharing, and coordinate the on-call rotation.
• Maintain and standardise cloud architecture, configuration, and operational documentation.
• Support cloud migration planning and execution while continuously improving cloud operations.

Expectations:

• Strong hands-on experience managing enterprise cloud environments, particularly OCI, AWS, and/or Azure.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking and security principles.
• Experience with IaaS, PaaS, Kubernetes, and containerised environments.
• Strong Infrastructure-as-Code and automation skills, particularly Terraform.
• Knowledge of observability, SRE principles, ITSM automation, and configuration drift management.
• Understanding of cloud cost optimisation and FinOps principles.
• Experience in cloud migration planning and implementation.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and standardisation skills.
• Ability to take technical ownership and support less experienced colleagues.
