Hands-on Senior Cloud Load Balancing L3 Engineer to support a large-scale X86 Data Center Exit and AWS Migration Program. The resource will provide operational support during migration cutovers and post-migration stabilization, troubleshooting application traffic routing, performance, and availability issues across AWS ALB and F5 load balancers.
Key Responsibilities:
Support application migration activities from on premise to AWS.
Administer and troubleshoot AWS Application Load Balancers (ALB) and AWS F5 LTM environments.
Investigate and resolve application connectivity, traffic routing, and performance issues.
Manage load balancer pools, members, health checks, and traffic distribution.
Support migration cutovers, validation activities, and post-migration stabilization.
Collaborate with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams to resolve operational issues.
Required Skills:
Working knowledge of AWS F5 BIG-IP LTM administration and troubleshooting.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS ALB
Experience supporting cloud migration and production environments.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and application traffic flow.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
6-8 years of infrastructure security, cloud, and network experience.
3+ years supporting AWS load balancing environments (F5 and ALB).
Experience working in migration and operational support roles.
