Role: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Boston, MA

Salary: $180,000 - $215,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Technology Engineering team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting modern infrastructure platforms across cloud and on-premises environments, with an increasing focus on automation, AI, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with a practical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in shaping infrastructure strategy, improving system reliability and security, and delivering solutions that support business growth.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and support cloud and on-premises infrastructure platforms.
• Build, configure, and maintain enterprise systems, cloud services, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams to deliver solutions throughout their lifecycle, from design through ongoing optimization.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure standards, policies, and operational best practices.
• Design, test, and continuously improve backup and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security, using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to identify and resolve operational challenges.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule supporting production systems and advanced technical escalations.
• Provide support during Eastern Time business hours.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience supporting and engineering enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Cloud, networking, and/or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms, virtualization, networking, and infrastructure operations.
• Experience implementing automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation tools such as Python or PowerShell.
• Experience integrating systems through APIs and modern automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI platforms, AI agents, and intelligent workflow automation in an enterprise environment.

• PKI and certificate management
• Monitoring, observability, and network management platforms
