About the Opportunity

Our client is building the infrastructure powering the next generation of AI-driven engineering software. They are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys owning complex technical projects from architecture through production and wants to help build highly scalable cloud infrastructure supporting AI, GPU computing, and modern engineering workflows.

This is an opportunity to join a highly technical infrastructure team where you'll have significant ownership, influence architectural decisions, and mentor other engineers while building production systems that operate at scale.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure from concept through production
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend infrastructure services
• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Deploy and support production workloads in AWS (ECS/EKS)
• Build secure, scalable SaaS infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver reliable cloud platforms
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
• Participate in architecture discussions and drive technical decisions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
• Experience designing and building production APIs
• Experience deploying and operating production SaaS applications
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
• Experience owning projects throughout the complete software development lifecycle
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, or container orchestration
• Startup or high-growth company experience
• GPU infrastructure or high-performance computing experience
• Experience with DAG-based processing or workflow orchestration
• Familiarity with Nextflow or Apptainer
• AI/ML infrastructure experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary up to $200,000
