Senior Platform Engineer | Berlin (Hybrid) (Also known as: Senior DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Infrastructure Engineer. Originally posted as "Platform Engineer (m/f/d)".)

We're looking for a (Senior) Platform Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure behind an AI-first software platform built for modern manufacturing — with a strong focus on developer experience and hands-on work with GPU workloads, streaming video pipelines, and MLOps.

As Platform Engineer, you'll bridge cutting-edge AI systems, complex video processing, and robust cloud infrastructure — keeping the engineering team shipping and debugging at high velocity. Without you, they can't scale Kubernetes clusters, optimize CDNs, or integrate MLOps workflows to support rapid growth.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
• Manage, scale, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters supporting intensive GPU workloads and streaming data/video processing systems.
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, automated deployments.
• Build monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus and other observability tools for full system visibility.
• Configure, secure, and optimize CDN infrastructure (CloudFront, Fastly, or Cloudflare) for low-latency data delivery.
• Improve daily developer experience through clean workflows, automation, and debugging tools for the software and data science teams.

Who this is a fit for

• 8–10 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Deep production expertise in AWS and infrastructure-as-code workflows with Terraform.
• Proven track record managing and scaling Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux sysadmin, networking, storage, and configuration management fundamentals.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and time-series databases like TimescaleDB.
• A collaborative communicator, comfortable aligning with remote engineering and data science peers.
