Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

Minimum 10 Years Of Experience.

Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure administration, including VMs, networking, and storage to support banks resilience initiative.

Experience in designing and implementing Cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS)

Deep understanding of Azure security, Identity (Azure AD), and Governance frameworks.

Manage Azure monitoring, alerting, and log analytics to support proactive operations.

Implement governance, security, and access controls using Azure Policy, Tags, RBAC, and Entra ID.

Architect and execute Disaster Recovery solutions (ASR, Backup, Active-Active/Passive designs).

Define and validate RTO/RPO and conduct regular failover/testing drills.

Manage Azure networking and high availability (VNet, VPN/ExpressRoute, Firewall, Load Balancer, Traffic Manager, DNS, AZ/VMSS).

Administer storage solutions (Blob, Files, Snapshots, Backup Vault) ensuring resilience and performance.

Configure and maintain NSGs, VM recovery/redeployment, and DR orchestration.

Deploy and automate infrastructure using IaC tools (ARM, Terraform) and operational runbooks.

Good-to-Have Hands-on experience with Cloud migrations (On-prem to Azure).

Proficiency in Monitoring, Backup, and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions in Azure.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Terraform) and automation.
