Summary:

VM copy- Copying an existing VM commonly called cloning or creating a template requires a solid understanding of hypervisors like VMware vSphere, Microsoft HyperV, or VirtualBox.

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes designing and executing migration strategies that ensure applications and data are moved efficiently and securely. The position requires coordinating with various teams to implement scalable and high-performance cloud solutions that support evolving business needs and future growth. The engineer continuously monitors progress and adapts plans to address challenges, ensuring seamless integration with both private and public cloud platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and execution of cloud migration strategies to meet project goals.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to align migration objectives and timelines.
• Mentor junior team members to support their growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cloud Migration Planning.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure assessment and application dependency mapping.
• Ability to design scalable and secure cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques to ensure data integrity and minimal downtime.
• Understanding of network configurations and security considerations in cloud environments.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Cloud Migration Planning.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
