Summary:

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer develops infrastructure and platform environments and creates proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with business needs and continuous evaluation of system performance are also key aspects of the daily workflow.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions meet organizational requirements and standards.
• Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Document architecture designs, deployment processes, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in cloud platform engineering tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Ability to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for cloud environment management.
• Knowledge of performance testing and validation techniques for cloud solutions.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
